ENISA publishes Threat Landscape 2024

On 19 September 2024, the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA) published its Threat Landscape 2024. Looking at the period from July 2023 until June 2024, it identifies seven prime cybersecurity threats:
- Ransomware
- Malware
- Social Engineering
- Threats against data
- Threats against availability: Denial of Service
- Information manipulation and interference
- Supply chain attacks
It also looks four distinct threat actors' categories:
- State-nexus actors;
- Cybercrime actors and hacker-for-hire actors;
- Private Sector Offensive actors (PSOA);
- Hacktivists
